Amalia, un viatge a Auschwitz

Avui compartim amb vosaltres una entrevista a una de les nostres destacades reporteres Amalia Cortés de la Mina, on relata el seu viatge a Polònia per visitar el camp de concentració d’Auschwitz i la seva participació en les diverses activitats del projecte Dikh i na Bistar que va reunir a un miler de joves d’arreu d’Europa a Polònia. 

"Aquí a Catalunya no coneixem el que va passar fa setanta anys a Europa i crec que és molt important que se sàpiga i conscienciar a tothom perquè això no torni a succeir. Des de Veus Gitanes hem anat gravant un vídeo amb l'objectiu de conscienciar els joves sobre el genocidi gitano. En aquest vídeo es recull com va ser la meva experiència el primer any, com l'hi explico a la meva família i a altres joves quan arribo a Barcelona, i com aquestes amigues a les que l'hi explico s'animen a venir aquest segon any a Polònia, i com és la nostra experiència allà juntes. 

 Quan editem el vídeo, ens agradaria portar-ho a les escoles del meu barri perquè coneguin el genocidi patit pels gitanos a Europa, es conscienciïn i entre tots lluitem perquè no es torni a repetir una cosa així. De fet l'any passat, després del meu primer viatge a Auschwitz, ja vaig realitzar una petita exposició de fotos que va agradar molt als joves del barri i enguany s'han animat a venir diversos nois i noies de la Mina; i l'any que ve espero que vinguin encara més."
