Salvar Aiguafreda es una victoria, pero insuficiente

Buenos días,

Muy seguramente ya habréis oído las buenas noticias: la cala de Aiguafreda se salva de la especulación urbanística!

Han sido meses de mucho trabajo, en los que las personas activistas de la Plataforma hemos participado en numerosas reuniones, hemos escritos varios informes, artículos y alegaciones, organizado eventos, presentado denuncias urbanísticas y recursos contenciosos, y toda una serie de acciones que finalmente han dado su fruto.

Esta victoria, sin embargo, es un poco agridulce, ya que desde que nos hemos formado como Plataforma (hace unos 18 meses), muchos otros proyectos urbanísticos insostenibles han comenzado a desarrollarse en Begur:

Así pues, aunque el número de nuevas viviendas que se podrían construir actualmente en Begur se reduce un 35% (con respecto al anterior Plan), la construcción potencial de más de 1.000 viviendas (en su mayoría de segundas residencias), sigue siendo una barbaridad, tanto desde el punto de vista paisajístico, como desde la perspectiva socio-ambiental.

Por todo ello, aparte de agradecer muy especialmente a las personas que han hecho donativos y a todas las activistas que han ayudado alcanzar los objetivos de la Plataforma SOS Aiguafreda, actualmente tenemos 3 casos en los juzgados y quisiéramos emprender nuevas acciones. Como no podemos bajar la guardia, seguimos necesitando el apoyo (económico y moral) de la ciudadanía. Toda ayuda será muy bienvenida!
