Un mar de agradecimientos

La Plataforma “Salvem la cala d’Aiguafreda” queremos dedicar unas palabras de agradecimiento a todas las personas que han colaborado en la campaña de micromecenazgo para recaudar fondos.

La campaña iniciada el pasado mes de julio mediante la plataforma Goteo ha sido todo un éxito y nos ha permitido obtener el dinero necesario para luchar contra el desarrollo urbanístico en la cala de Aiguafreda. Una cala prácticamente virgen del municipio de Begur donde se pretende construir cientos de segundas residencias y hasta tres nuevos hoteles. Quedará por ver si podemos detener este proyecto sin la necesidad de ir por vía penal (en cuyo caso seguramente estaríamos obligados a reabrir un nuevo proyecto de recaudación de fondos), pero esto sólo lo sabremos a ciencia cierta dentro de algunos meses.

Sea como sea, gracias al dinero recaudado hasta ahora hemos podido contratar un abogado y hemos elaborado numerosas alegaciones y diversos materiales divulgativos. Estas actividades, sumadas al gran apoyo social que estamos recibiendo y a la gran atención mediata que hemos tenido (pues la Plataforma Salvemos la cala de Aiguafreda ha aparecido en más de 65 reportajes y artículos de prensa en los últimos meses), nos dan fuerzas suficientes para continuar luchando contra la especulación urbanística promovida por el Ayuntamiento de Begur.

Por todo ello, queremos agradecer muy especialmente a las entidades Cressi Sub España y Ecologistes en Acció de Catalunya por habernos dado apoyo económico, y a las muchas personas individuales que han puesto su granito de arena. Sin vuestro apoyo, este proyecto no podría salir adelante.
