We are starting the second week of our #crowdfunding #CorazonesVerdes with fully charged batteries and pretty happy since we already have 39 backers that already helped us get to 1.535 euros!

To celebrate, we want to share with you our very first video that we did to call people to join us at the People’s Climate March. We shot this video early September. We were a team of about 20 people and we had quite a modest objective: organize a march. A first time experience for all of us. The video was part of this and was the first project we did all together. We never imagined then what was coming only 9 months later: we now have a community of more than 500 people and we have a project a tiny bit more ambitious; direct our own documentary called Corazones Verdes (Green Hearts).
How did we come up with such a project? The thought made its way following many encounters with entities such as Espai Ambiental, la Xarxa per la Sobirania Energètica o Fracking Ez - amongst other collectives working on climate change. These groups often miss the pressure from citizens, necessary if we want strong measures in favor of the environment to be taken. To solve that problem, we try from 350BCN to make people aware of the power they have. But there are a lot of events to take part into, a lot of campaigns to share and it is not always easy to be everywhere. Hence the idea of making a documentary that we could share online. With Corazones Verdes, we will capture precisely the importance of simple citizens and of activism in the fight against climate change. It will be a way for us to demystify activism and show, not only how easy it is, but also how it is a citizen’s duty at a time of emergency like today. Yes, we are optimistic but we also know that there is no time to lose.
