SOSTRE recomienda el proyecto "Fogones mejorados de adobe" porque construye desde la participación, porque posibilita la formación y el empoderamiento de mujeres del barrio y porque, partiendo de una intervención mínima consigue un amplio efecto social y ambiental. Qué sean muchas las cocinas...

Technical Material: The technical assessment of the stove prototype described in the budget requires technical material very hard to find in Nicaragua, which substantially raises the external costs. However, with a particle meter, we could carry out the analysis of the stove ourselves. We accept offers for borrowing a meter or suggestions for making an alternative apparatus.

¡Saludos! Quisiera plantearos las posibilidades que la preparación de combustibles para la mejora del proyecto y la salud de los usuarios. Hay muchos trabajos escritos en torno al uso de bambu y su transformación en carbón para mejorar tanto el rendimiento del combustible como la disminución de la deforestación o, quizás más importante, la reducción de los subproductos de mala combustión. En Nicaragua debe haber diversas variedades de bambú no estructural que puedan resultar útiles. Translation of documents: The documents created during the process will have a better reach if they exist in various languages. We would like for our collective compensations – the self-construction manual and the methodological report – to reach the maximum amount of people.
